About.
Based in Portland, Oregon Shannon Brown started “58 | Agency & Co” in 2015 as a way to express his love for nature photography. His talent in shooting with angle landscapes mixed with a fearless drive to do whatever it took to make the shot makes his images stand out.
The mission.
Shannon’s incredible photography already speaks for itself. His problem was that he needed a simple and easy way to show his work that was more formal than a simple Instagram page. As the project developed he found that he also needed to site to be dynamic enough to share images with his clients behind a protected “private page”.
Building the concept.
The most important part of building any artist brand is making sure their art is at the forefront. It is very easy for a marketing strategy to either compete with the product or for the brand identity to become boring and plain. Our designers at Digital Dog were heavily inspired by modern photography galleries, choosing a “less is more” approach our aim was to create a easy to navigate UI that placed his work boldly on every page.
Impressive result.
Through extensive iterations of wireframes, and initial designs we delivered a comprehensive solution that is light-years ahead of the competition. Keeping in mind one of the paramount project goals, giving the site a massive facelift while still placing imagery at the center of the site.
